Adornments of The Red Court

About this event

In this workshop of wonder, we’ll turn ordinary playing cards and upcycled materials into curious little treasures- earrings, charms, and creations fit for a night tumbling Down the Rabbit Hole. We’ll slice, punch, and reassemble the familiar symbols of the deck: hearts, queens, jokers- into personalized pieces that feel like they fell straight out of Wonderland.

No prior jewellery-making experience is required. You’ll learn a few simple techniques for creating wearable art and leave with adornments that are whimsical, slightly mad, and entirely of your own imagination.

Rose Pistola is equal parts glitter, grit, and graduate degrees. When she’s not shimmying her sequins off as a burlesque performer, she’s a Drama Therapy and Expressive Art Coach helping folks strip away their emotional armor and reveal their soul. A lifelong upcycler and designer of unique costumes and accessories, she believes sometimes the most delightful path to transformation is to dress the part.
